Easy to find just off 280/85 in Cupertino. Saturday evenings are Family Astronomy Evenings with grade level recommendations. Families can learn about the solar system, constellations, the lifecycle of a star, etc.

Deer Hollow Farm (Rancho San Antonio Park in Mountain View)

A 20 minute walk through the park to get there, the small Deer Hollow Farm has cows, chickens, ducks, sheep, pigs and a garden. They do tours for schools, offer summer classes & internships and have a nice, large picnic table area under an old barn roof. Free entry.
